On the 107th anniversary of May 19, 1919 — the day the torch of the Turkish War of Independence was lit — we remember Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk with respect.
May 19, 1919 — the day Mustafa Kemal Atatürk landed in Samsun and lit the torch of the Turkish War of Independence. When he later proclaimed this day a holiday, he said: "I am gifting this day not to me, but to the youth."
107 years later, the ERPIDE family commemorates Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk with respect and gratitude, and celebrates the Youth & Sports Day of all our young people.
